These were taken quite long ago… I’d have forgotten about it if not for a friend who asked me some questions on low light concert phototaking.

Shot with a $10 broken lens, yes B-R-O-K-E-N, but still usable if you are poor- like me.

Awesome performance from the SMU Dance Club

What do you think?

Oh. The performance was held at Victoria Theater, I sat right in the the first row-from the back.

Samantha and her ihaveacommonPhone.

I must admit I had benefited from Samantha’s new phone and subscribed data plan. Without having to log in to Wireless.sg or other wifi hotspots, we can now check movie timings and parking rates on the go! Of course, whether or not the extra premium paid justifies the conveniences are debatable.

On the other hand, for those anti-iPhone people out there, i think it’s time to move on and stop slamming iPhones, if anyone is prepared to pay a premium for some degree of convenience, it’s totally his/her choice.

Reservoir @ West Coast

Sometimes you just cannot disagree having a car is helpful, you get to go anywhere you want as long as it is connected by road. On this note, Samantha and I managed to visit 4 places (5 for me) in 1 night.

Supper @ West Coast’s Al Ameen

We paid a visit to the nearby reservoir. I know the first picture looked surreal, but it really is a reservoir! Not really sure why there were those floating platforms though…

I’m glad i took the shot because i rarely get to shoot “landscape” photos (even if it means pseudo-landscape like the one above)

Remember that time i told you ling has an ever changing form?

More photos

It’s amazing how one perceives what image quality is. We bought the Pentax K-x mainly because of it’s high-yet-clean ISO capabilities, yet here i am posting pictures which i’ve deliberately added grain/noise in post-processing for a tint of retro look

Before you sit for your driving test…

To all guys:

Most of you learn driving while you’re serving the army. So please remember to sit for your driving test only AFTER your hair has grown out. Or you’ll be stuck with a driving license with you and your really REALLY REALLY short hair ;)

P.S. Sam did well for finance :D CHEERIOS

Love, Samantha
