Be My Valentine!
Alright! Valentine’s started with an arcade session at Downtown East (because they have so much better games there) and a movie on my laptop 
Then Ivan and I went to the Jurong Bird Park at 4pm on Valentine’s Day, and don’t be mistaken, we didn’t go there to see the birds. We went there to SHOP AT THE GIFT SHOP! WOO! Hahaha. I used to swear off shopping at gift shops because 1, the gifts there are too expensive; and 2, the gifts aren’t even nice. BUT HOW CAN U RESIST…….. THIS?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Yup! For $29.90, we brought home PENGUINE!
Alright, we had every intention to go visit Jurong Bird Park. But because we reached at 4pm, and they close at 6pm, it just didn’t seem worth it to spend the money for 2 hours and not see a single live show.

Then we drove up Jurong Hill (seriously, has anyone heard of this hill?) and there was a restaurant selling teppanyaki that looked reaaaaaaaaaally dubious. Seriously. It’s like at the ‘basement’ of the viewing tower and it looks like this when seen from above:
Seriously, is the food erm, edible/healthy/safe/tasty? Lol. DON’T BE FOOLED! We went down and discovered there’s an air conditioned restaurant inside and this outdoor setting was only if there weren’t enough seats. Then I thought, come on, it’s located at such an ulu place, why will there be not enough seats! Once again I was proved wrong. After we left, the place was fully packed.
A very fun experience indeed. The waiters there will wear a bib for you so you won’t dirty your shirt hahaha. Food is expensive but pretty yummy, and there’s a ‘dessert area’ which you go to after you finish your meal so they can serve you a complimentary pudding. BUT, they DON’T TELL U ALL THE STUFF U NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ORDERING! -.- Ok this is my complain time. Haha. Firstly, they don’t serve rice as part of the set. This is totally lame since they can serve a ’salad’ which you can’t reject and then charge you $5 for that. They also serve you green tea and charge you for that, and I’m only complaining because I don’t like drinking hot green tea so it just didn’t seem right that they charged me for green tea when I ordered coke. Stewpid.
But overall, it was a very fun experience. Not the high class setting I expected of a restaurant of that price range, but that aside, I wouldn’t mind going back there again 
After the dinner we went home, and Ivan showed me the present he’s been busy with.
A private server for the both of us to maple! OH MAN I AM ADDICTED AGAIN! Haha. To those who are laughing at me now, A PRIVATE SERVER IS NOT EASY TO SET UP! And to those who actually play maplestory, HAHA I AM LEVELING LIKE NO ONE’S BUSINESS BECAUSE I GET LIKE A FEW THOUSAND EXP PER SNAIL. Beat that. Haha. I’m so happy! I love Ivan!!!
