REYREINA.COM

First entry. HELLO all.

Samantha is gonna love this, I mean, me writing an entry. Don’t think she’s gonna enjoy the content though. Haha.

Anyway… I shall fulfill my nearly forgotten promise and post an entry here. Who knows, I may even start blogging everyday! So, lets start with some very brief facts and a new font colour to differentiate the HisĀ and Hers post.

I am Ivan.

This is my shared blog with Samantha.

Samantha and I are of the same age and she currently loves to bake while I like to fiddle with computer hardware and games.

(Okok… I love to, not just like to).

So, as she might have guessed, I am going to showcase some of my collections here.

I recently purchased several Lianli 120mm fans from a fellow forummer from hardwarezone. As it was pretty cheap, (and i really mean it, cheap = cost of “meeting up” > cost of fans itself) the person I bought from offered to send me my stuff via singpost for free. Well, there isn’t anything special about this FOC mailing for those who often purchase goods anywhere else other than physical shops, but what amazed me was his quality of service in attempting to protect the hardware. So, the least I could do was to show you guys some pictures i took while unwrapping it:

I received this parcel in my mailbox. Pictures are credits of our Nikkon D40X w/ Kit Lens.

It seems like he reused one of his international freight parcels to store the fans. Compact and thick cardboard sealed with masking tape.

Opening up i saw plastic pockets of bubble wrap. Its not the usual bubble wrap you see in the market. Its huge, roughly the size of a samosa.

Beneath it is the special envelope

The envelope has an inner layer of bubble wrap (the standard type), and in it are the GOODS, 2 Lianli 12cm fans, placed in a small transparent plastic bag and scotch taped neatly. If you are wondering what is in between the 2 fans, it’s a power molex. Basically it’s like an adapter, (for example a 2.5mm to 3.5mm headphone jack) it allows me to have the flexibility of choosing whether I want the fans to be powered from the Power Supply (PSU) or from the Motherboard (MOBO). This accessory came as a surprise as i did not ask for it and does not usually come as a package.

Just more pictures. Shall not dwell further into details of the fans as the entry is supposed to show the packaging, not really the fans themselves. Haha.

Well. That’s all, no pictures of them powered up, turning, churning cool air into the warm system inside the cpu chassis. Maybe next time. lol.

Cheers, Ivan.
