Summer kinda sucks In a way, it’s great that my Bali trip is just one week before school starts. That way, summer ends with a bang. Simply awesome.

Ivan and I went to Raffles Marina today, and OMG, I think I got a little drowsy after seeing all the magnificent ships and yachts parked there. Then of course, Ivan and I blabbered stuff like ‘If we’re damnnnnnn rich, let’s buy a boat’. Hahaha.

So anyway, the past week was SUPER tiring! Like seriously, it was the pack-est (sorreh for bad english) week of my summer so far! Which goes to show how slack my summer is. Lol. So we had EyE meetings, then I had a full day teaching piano lessons (and fyi I didn’t drive, usually I do, so, not lazy ok?!), followed by 2 days in Nanyang Girls High (NYGH) watching the guys conduct lessons for the NY girls. Hahaha my summer so far is all about The Simpsons! It must be like the 4th time I’m watching all 19 seasons, but it doesn’t get boring! Seriously! Hahaha. So while I was doing some marketing stuff for the E.y.E LSE-SMU event, I came across the Simpsons brush set as shown above. They are just awesome! Heh.

Had a really nice dinner/supper with Genevieve and Pingni just earlier at Timbre after the LSE-SMU Asia Investment Banking Conference (AIBC) meeting. It’s really fun managing such a big scale event lol. Of course there’s loads of things we’ve got to settle, but it’s all such a great experience

If only my luggage had more space, I would have bought another 20 pairs of shoes back from Hong Kong and China! Haha. Each pair were going for only SGD$10! Seriously, my mom and I walked into a shop and bought 5 pairs at once. The salesgirl couldn’t stop smiling! HAHA!

Not only did mom, Fiona, and I get new shoes, my cute little car got new shoes too! Heh. Ivan and I went to Poh Heng Tyres to change our baldy tyres and purchase new rims! Next up, new suspensions!

Anyway summer’s kinda boring I haven’t made much plans, and everyone’s so busy they can’t go out Plus Fiona’s having her exams so I gotta wait like another week before we can both go out Today, I woke up, watched The Simpsons for 3 hours, decided that I was too bored so I went for a RUN. Oh man lol. It’s good that I’m running, but what a sad thing that I’m running because I’m too bored!

You know it’s SUMMER when you get to watch Wolverine, X-Men 1, X-Men 2, and X-Men: The Last Stand, BACK TO BACK!!! HAHAHA! I have a thing for the X-Men series (not just because Hugh Jackman stars in it)… In fact, this is the third time I’m watching all 3 X-Men movies back to back!

Anyway, just a short summary on how my trip to Hong Kong went: IT WAS AWESOME AND HECTIC! Hahaha. In 5 days, I visited Hong Kong, China, and Macau. YEAP I WENT TO THE CASINO AND I WON MONEY!!! Hahahaha. But my mom lost money so after 3 hours, we were back to square one. Hahaha. And oh my, because it was our first time visiting a casino, we didn’t know what to do, so we went to exchange for SGD$200 chips. We happily went to a roulette table and MY GOD, the min bet was SGD$40. HAHA. Then because there were like other big men at the table, we felt bad if we left after one round, so we stuck on for like 10 minutes and cringed everytime the bets were closed. Hahaha. And one more thing, one day in Hong Kong, a taxi driver told me “You’re from Singapore? Singapore food not as nice as Hong Kong”. I almost died hearing that. TSK!

Oh well, I was really lucky to get back from Hong Kong just before it was hit with its first swine flu case. So for those who are still planning to go overseas, remember to be really really careful! Other than that, enjoy yourself! Haha.

Today I met Ivan for lunch! And we had our FAVOURITE KFC! All for trying to keep off fast food. Ugh no discipline hahaha.

I got my nails painted today…. AND MY TOES ARE A SHOCKING HIGHLIGHTER PINK OMGAWDZ. I wanted RED, like HAWT red hahahaha but I think it was the poor lighting so I got HAWT pink instead. Hahahahaha. I keep laughing at my toes. Love it, hate it, they’re really cute and HAWT.

So KIDS, what word did you learn today? Yes, HAWT.

Dear friends who secretly read my blog but don’t comment, here’s a list of things I would like us to do together this summer. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and will definitely contribute to the success of our summers. HAHA. Ok, as usual, I’ve done up a list of things I want to do. Of course there’s a whole lot of personal stuff that I want to achieve (like finding my inner zen HAHA), and a lot of things I plan to do with/for Ivan. BUT for now, I’ll just share what I think MY DEAR FRIENDZ out there can do as a group. SO HERE GOES:

1. CREATE OUR AWESOMEZ MTV - I’m sure most of you know what I’m talking about, so please please go think of an awesome song! Crap, the song Calcutta has been on my mind the past 2 days HAHA.
2. WII + Basketball + Sleepover @ my place
3. Go ice skating (come on Larissa!)
4. FLEA MARKET! I really want to clean out stuff from my house and sell them at a flea market. But I’m hoping some of you might wanna join me on this please please pretty please? 

Lastly, though 3 days late, here’s me shouting out SUMMER IS HERE! FINALLY WE CAN ALL USE PHRASES LIKE “I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER” and eh-hem to those lonely hearts out there, MAKE SURE U HAVE A SUMMER ROMANCE! HAHAHA! Here’s wishing all of us the best first summer holiday of our lives

Things to do after stats paper on Thursday: come up with a Summer to-do list

HAHA.

I CAN’T BELIEVE SUMMER IS 3 DAYS AWAY OMGOMGOMGOMG! So many gazillion things I can finally do! PLUS make up for the time I didn’t spend with Ivan because of the exams. PLUS the rest I so need! Hahaha. Oh man SO EXCITED! For now, my fixed holiday plans are a 5 day Hong Kong trip in April, and 7 day Bali Trip in August. Still wondering if I should go visit Joyce in Australia, but I’m running low on cash!
